There are some interesting things happening in the Zornes' household. First, God has blessed us with an outstanding daughter, she displays compassion and understanding that can only be explained as a gift from God. We were perfectly happy and content with our lives as we were busy with " the American Dream", that is, until we were introduced to this forgotten country on the island of Hispaniola.
I had traveled to Haiti on a few occasions with an organization that we work with called the Hands and Feet Project. Because of my instant love with the country and the people, it has become all that I talk or think about. Last summer we decided to travel there as a family and serve at one of the children's villages in Jacmel. My love for Haiti spilled over into my wife, Alicia and our daughter Abby. God has placed on us a tremendous burden and love for the "least of these", SO, we are in the process of adopting from that country. In the midst of all this, God was working very heavily on us about our relation with Him and what obedience really looks like. So after several years (we're a little slow) we have taken that step of faith and decided to move to Haiti and serve as full-time missionaries with the Hands and Feet Project. We are currently engaged in mobilization activities as well as reaching out to and identifying potential ministry partners. We would love to have you on our team.
